The Process

1. Say Hello

Capturing those first few weeks of your new family are moments you cannot recreate, and ones you won’t want to forget. Photographing your newborn and your family is a passion of mine, and I cannot wait to capture your family! 

Send me a message below, and I will reach out within 24 hours to schedule a quick phone call.

2. Your Planning Appointment

Your planning appointment is where we go over all of the details – from going through products and wall art options, to discussing what poses and colors you love.

I will walk you through what kind of outfits and color palettes look best for your family portraits as well as dresses you can wear from my client closet.

Once we have gone over what to expect from me and the experience, we will sign the contract, pay the session fee, and schedule a tentative date around your due date. There is nothing more for you to do but relax and look forward to your photo session! <3

3. Your Session

Your newborn has made their arrival – congratulations! But now what?! 

Once you are back at home, a quick text message to let me know is all it takes for us to set up a date about two weeks from birth. The best part about it all is that I bring the studio to you! No need to pack up a brand new baby while you are still recovering, just open the your door and let me take care of the rest.

Newborn photo sessions typically last around 2-4 hours, which gives us plenty of time for feedings, snuggles, and not having to stress. We go at your baby’s pace – they run the show.

4. The Reveal & Ordering Appointment

1-2 weeks after your newborn photo session, I will come back to your home for the big reveal!

We will watch your session’s images through a slideshow, reliving all of the sweet, sleepy poses and your first portrait as a family from your personalized session. Afterwards, I will help you narrow down the images into the ones you truly love & can’t live without. Figuring out the best way to display your images is the fun part! Going through each product again, you will decide what works best for you can your family so you can cherish these images daily.

After you have decided which images and artwork you love, I take care of the rest for you. In the end you will have gorgeous heirlooms displaying your images hand delivered to your door.

Your Memories Deserve To Be Printed

Your experience is customized to fit your family and their wants. From helping choose the perfect color palette for your newborn images, to having dresses available for all of my clients to use, you can be as hands-off (or as involved!) as you would like while planning your session.

Your newborn photo session is stress-free and takes place in the comfort of your own home. There is no need for you to worry about leaving your space for hours with your brand new baby.

Your customized experience does not end with your session. Getting together a week later to relive your newborn session, we sit down and go through your images. Hand selecting what images speak to you the most, making sure you only receive the images you love. Creating your baby’s newborn album or a statement piece for your nursery ensures you get to enjoy those memories all year round, instead of them collecting digital dust on your phone or a hard drive somewhere.

Printing your images, walking by your photo on the wall each day brings joy to our lives – and has been shown to raise children’s self confidence! As your San Diego newborn photographer, I walk you through finding the perfect pieces for your family so you can have museum-quality artwork of your images to enjoy every day.
